- Barrel screw clasps consist of two round threaded cylinders where one end screws into the other end by twisting them around several times. They provide greater security than magnetic or hook type clasps.

- The amber beads are strung on strong cotton thread. There is a knot on either side of each bead so if the necklace were to break the beads would not scatter.

Amber necklace

My 10 month old daughter seems to have been teething almost constantly since she was about 5 months old (she has 8 teeth now). I got her an amber necklace about a month ago and it has been scarily effective! The first day we put it on her she seemed to be in a better mood almost immediately and went to sleep quickly and without Bonjela for the first time in weeks. Her eye teeth are cutting the gums at the moment so we've found she also wants a bit of teething powder or something when she goes to bed, but her general mood during the day just seems to be so much better - she's less grizzly and irritable and she sleeps through the night again. So, yep, definitely recommend it. The necklace we have is knotted between each bead so there is apparently very little risk of them breaking ...
